Most of the time in cold place, people may face high risk of flu. Some people think that getting flu is just normal thing when the weather is cold, and it will be better after a few weeks. Step 1: Vaccine is the first best way to avoid flu. So go to get the flu shot as soon as possible. Experts say that it will be most widespread each season because vaccine is designed to protect against the flu strains.

Step 2: Vaccine types: The flu “shot”, the nasal spray, Egg-free, and Flu zone.

  • The flu ‘shot’ contains a death virus. It’s available for people aged 18 to 64 years old.
  • The nasal spray or Flu Mist contains a live but weakened form of the virus. It’s approved for healthy and no pregnant people aged between 2 and 49 years old.
  •   Egg-free vaccines are for severe egg allergies people aged between 18 and 19 years old.
  • Flu zone contain high-dose version for older person aged 65 years old up. It’s better at protecting an older person’s immune system.

Step 5: Smoking is not only cause high risk of cancer but also susceptible to flu. There is evidence that smokers get more flu infections than nonsmokers. When they get sick, smokers tend to have a more severe infection and can cause you death.

Step 6: Medicine is used when you already sick. You can take some medicine that permitted from doctor. Stay at home until you get better and use tissues after you blow your nose.
